Production Manager

As a Production Manager, you’ll lead a team of 10+ supervisors, oversee production planning, and play a key role in continuous improvement, inventory control, and new product development. You’ll develop and implement procedures to ensure recipe accuracy, process efficiency, and quality control standards, while providing guidance and leadership to the production team to ensure all operational standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bakery operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and food safety requirements (GFSI, BRC, SQF) are met.
• Analyze production data, implement process improvements, and reduce waste to enhance bakery performance.
• Control raw material usage, oversee SAP reporting, and ensure accurate ingredient tracking.
• Coordinate bakery trials, execute production plans, and ensure seamless product launches.
• Ensure all processes align with GFSI, BRC, SQF, and customer requirements while maintaining exceptional quality control.
• Mentor, coach, and manage production supervisors to build a high-performing workforce.
• Provide key insights, reporting, and recommendations to senior leadership to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in the food industry, with at least 5-7 years in bakery production management.
• Strong background in food safety (GFSI, BRC, or SQF) and sanitation compliance.
• Leadership experience in high-volume food manufacturing, with a focus on process improvement.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $108,000
