Receive all incoming materials from suppliers, label them, and store them properly in the warehouse.  Ensure bakery requests for material are loaded and delivered timely for production.  Ensure that all materials are labeled and stored properly in accordance with an order of allergen policy.


Responsibilities:

  • Audit warehouse daily to ensure inventory accuracy as directed by supervisor/lead
  • Receive inbound raw material/packaging deliveries
  • Validate all COAs from supplier upon receiving to ensure material is within company specification
  • Properly label pallets with storage unit tags and allergen labels
  • Perform physical/systematic movements of raw material received to correct storage locations
  • Stage material for upcoming outbound shipments to the bakery per stock transfer order
  • Load materials onto outbound trailers for shipment to the bakery per stock transfer order (STO)
  • Monitors all orders received from the bakery and uses picklist properly to supply the bakery with FEFO materials
  • Monitor and track all material movements to ensure inventory accuracies
  • Conduct daily physical inventory cycle counts in accordance with the published schedule
  • Maintain housekeeping in a dry warehouse
  • Monitors movements to guarantee FEFO is being followed
  • Operates lift truck in production area and warehouse
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • At least 1 year of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 1 year of inventory/cycle counting experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • At least 1 year of forklift experience a plus (Stand up, walkie rider, deep reach trucks)
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively
