Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with production procedures
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Maintain appropriate documents and forms for beginning and end of shift reporting
- Assemble, set-up, and stop equipment for changeovers and line specific needs
- Adhere to production running order and recipes.
- Assists in standardizing procedures and practices to improve line efficiency and/or product quality
- Ability to work in a hot, cold, wet and loud environment
- All other duties as assigned
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Can regularly stand, walk and lift up to 50lbs
- Some manufacturing experience preferred, food manufacturing a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good communication and observational skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
- Position requires ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team
- High School Diploma
Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level
Required
- 1-3 years of leadership/supervisor experience
- Read, Write, and Math skills
- Computer literate
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line
- Position requires ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team
