About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead all maintenance and asset reliability initiatives while ensuring optimal equipment performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards to support plant production goals.

 

Shift & Schedule

Shift: Day Shift 
Weekend availability: As needed

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Lead and manage all maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and plant efficiency
  • Drive asset reliability programs including SAP, TPM, and predictive/preventative maintenance strategies
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and OEE optimization
  • Ensure compliance with EHSS, OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory standards
  • Develop and manage department budgets, capital projects, and maintenance spending
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and production to meet business objectives
  • Build, coach, and develop maintenance teams while fostering a culture of safety and accountability

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Experience with SAP, TPM, and asset reliability programs
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification
  • Experience managing capital projects and maintenance budgets
  • Strong knowledge of food manufacturing compliance standards (GMP, HACCP, AIB, EPA)
