About the Role

We are seeking a Packaging Operator (Bakery) to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Packaging Operator, you will be accountable for ensuring baked products meet quality specifications, packaging products manually and with machinery, and supporting safe, efficient, and compliant production operations.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 10PM – 6:30AM
• Weekend availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Operate and adjust packaging equipment to maintain accurate product specifications
• Package baked products manually or using machinery to meet production requirements
• Maintain equipment settings, monitor supply levels, and ensure work areas are clean and organized
• Identify and report safety, quality, maintenance, or hygiene concerns to appropriate personnel
• Support food‑safety compliance by following GMPs and adhering to production schedules and running orders
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Perform additional production duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of basic production equipment and packaging operations
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift as required for the role
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Prior experience in the food manufacturing or bakery industry
• Familiarity with automated packaging equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team
• Understanding of food‑safety requirements and GMP standards
