About the Role
We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery–Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting production equipment to ensure food products meet Aspire Bakeries’ quality specifications, while supporting production goals, maintaining efficiencies, and upholding food‑safety standards.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 2nd
- Hours: 2PM – 10:30PM
- Weekend availability: Required
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure products meet quality specifications
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports
- Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and GMP requirements
- Assemble, set up, start, and stop equipment for startups, changeovers, and line-specific needs
- Follow production schedules, running orders, and recipe instructions to maintain product consistency
- Collaborate with the production team to meet output goals and maintain efficiency
- Perform additional duties as required to support production operations
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent production changes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a highly functioning team
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, climbing, bending, and working around moving equipment
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Equipment and product knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Experience in food manufacturing
