About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery–Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery–Production, you will be accountable for operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure products meet quality specifications while supporting production goals, maintaining operational efficiencies, and upholding food safety and quality standards.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Weekend Availability: Required


Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure consistent product quality and efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
  • Maintain accurate production records and operational documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Set up, assemble, start, stop, and change over equipment to support production requirements.
  • Follow production schedules, formulas, and operating instructions to maintain product consistency.
  • Collaborate with production teams to achieve output, quality, and efficiency goals.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, climbing, bending, and working around moving equipment.
  • Ability to comply with all safety, quality, and operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of production equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated equipment troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
