About the Role

We are seeking a Bakery Operator to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Bakery Operator, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated production and packaging equipment to ensure products meet Aspire Bakeries’ quality and food‑safety standards. This role supports all phases of production and requires flexibility to rotate across assignments, make accurate real‑time decisions, and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6AM – 2:30PM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Operate and adjust production and packaging equipment to ensure products meet specification standards
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, startups, and line‑specific needs
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas following GMP and safety requirements
• Monitor equipment and product flow to make timely decisions impacting quality and production
• Communicate key production and process information to supervisors and team members
• Provide coverage across the line, operating equipment during employee breaks and filling in as needed
• Perform additional duties to support production efficiency and product quality

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Equipment and product knowledge, including basic troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and observational abilities
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent production changes
• Ability to work effectively as part of a high‑functioning team
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing stairs, bending, twisting, standing for long periods)

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Experience in food manufacturing
• Ability to operate multiple types of production and packaging equipment
