About the Role

We are seeking a Mixing Operator to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Mixing Operator, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated mixing and production equipment to ensure products consistently meet quality and food safety standards. This role is vital to maintaining product consistency, supporting production efficiency, minimizing downtime, and contributing to a safe and productive manufacturing environment.


Shift & Schedule

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours: 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM

Weekend Availability: Required


Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Operate and adjust mixing and production equipment to achieve product quality and specification requirements.
  • Monitor product quality and equipment performance to support food safety and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and equipment documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary production areas and equipment.
  • Support production schedules and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to operate production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Equipment operation and product knowledge.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product-related issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to follow production schedules, procedures, and recipes.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or bakery production environments.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Preventive maintenance experience on production equipment.
