About the Role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our Cayce bakery. As a Production Operator, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting production equipment to ensure products meet quality specifications while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.

 

Shift & Schedule

Shift: 3rd
Hours: 9:45PM - 6:15AM
Weekend Availability: Required

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery to ensure consistent and accurate food specifications.
  • Ensure all food products meet established quality standards throughout production.
  • Maintain accurate and timely production documents, records, and reports.
  • Assemble, set up, start, and stop equipment for start‑ups, changeovers, and line needs.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with GMPs and safety rules.
  • Accurately scale ingredients to meet scheduled recipe requirements.
  • Follow production schedules, running orders, and recipes to maintain operational flow.

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
  • Equipment and product knowledge, including basic troubleshooting ability.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to enter data into company programs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Prior experience operating food manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with GMPs or food safety environments.
  • Experience with automated production systems.
  • Strong understanding of production changeovers or line setup.
  • Ability to identify equipment variances and escalate appropriately.
