About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Cayce, SC bakery. As a Production Supervisor, you will be accountable for leading daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently achieved while developing and supporting a high-performing team. This role is critical to maintaining efficient operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with company policies and manufacturing standards.

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

  • Lead daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production team members to achieve performance expectations.
  • Resolve production, personnel, and operational challenges to maintain productivity and workflow.
  • Monitor production records, material usage, inventory tracking, and reporting for accuracy and accountability.
  • Analyze production performance, downtime, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to address equipment and process issues.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and continuous improvement-focused work environment through safety leadership and incident investigations.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in a production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze production reports, downtime data, and performance metrics to drive operational decisions.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and production reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • 4 or more years of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment.
  • Experience working with SAP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and operational efficiency initiatives.
