About the Role

We are seeking a Supervisor, Bakery Inventory, to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Inventory Supervisor, you will be accountable for ensuring inventory accuracy, controlling stock movement, leading inventory personnel, and maintaining compliant, efficient inventory systems that support production, warehouse, and customer needs.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 1st
  • Hours: 6AM – 2:30PM
  • Weekend availability: Required

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Lead inventory control activities to ensure accurate, timely tracking of all stock movements
  • Maintain inventory systems and processes to ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance
  • Oversee inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution to drive accuracy improvements
  • Coordinate inventory flow between warehouse, production, and procurement teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize stock levels, reduce cost, and improve efficiency
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across all inventory operations
  • Supervise, coach, and develop inventory team members to achieve performance and accuracy targets

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in inventory supervision, inventory analysis, or warehouse operations
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, or similar platforms)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CPIM or CSCP
  • Experience in food manufacturing or GMP‑regulated environments
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with automated or semi‑automated inventory systems
