About the Role
We are seeking a Head Freezer Operator to join our team at our Winnipeg bakery. As Head Freezer Operator, you will be accountable for planning, organizing, and controlling the day-to-day freezer operations while ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, and safe working conditions.

Hourly Rate: $24.28
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Maintain accurate physical-to-SAP inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage, stock rotation (FEFO), and compliance with BRC audit standards.
- Operate electric reach stackers and pallet jacks safely.
- Accurately store and locate incoming frozen products and daily production.
- Monitor and control withdrawal and storage of finished goods.
- Train and assist Shipper/Receivers on freezer operations.
- Prepare and pull thaw items to support production schedules.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
- Report equipment issues and product damage promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of freezer and work area.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- Minimum Grade 12 education with strong oral and written English skills.
- At least 1 year of experience operating electric reach stackers and pallet jacks.
- Forklift certification required.
- Strong math skills and understanding of inventory control fundamentals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in below-freezing temperatures.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Knowledge of SAP and RF gun usage.
- Inventory management training.
- Familiarity with scheduling processes, quality standards, and safety policies.
