About the Role

We are seeking a Scorer/Loader to join our team at our Winnipeg bakery. As a Scorer/Loader, you will be accountable for supporting high‑speed production by scoring, aligning, and loading products accurately while maintaining quality, safety, and sanitation standards. This role is essential in ensuring products flow efficiently through the line and meet customer and company specifications.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: Rotating Continental
  • Hours: 12‑hour rotating shift
  • Weekend availability: Required

 

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $17.21

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Operate and monitor high‑speed production lines to ensure consistent product quality and throughput
  • Score and load products accurately while visually inspecting items for quality deviations
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow GMPs, PPE requirements, and Health & Safety rules
  • Communicate equipment, quality, or safety concerns promptly to supervisory staff
  • Support continuous workflow by anticipating issues, problem‑solving, and aligning products on conveyors
  • Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and reported if damaged
  • Perform additional production duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as reaching, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work all assigned shifts with open flexibility
  • Ability to understand production schedules, safety policies, and quality procedures after training
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with leads and coworkers

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Previous experience in factory or warehouse settings
  • Knowledge of production equipment structure and function
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to anticipate and resolve issues independently
