As a Production Operator III, you will monitor and control the efficiency of the Sheeting Line, ensuring dough mixes remain within capacity while incorporating any approved waste dough back into the process. Key responsibilities include setting and verifying process control parameters, continually monitoring product specifications, maintaining flour dusters, and overseeing adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This role also entails accurately recording quality control checks, weighing product units to meet specifications, and taking on additional tasks as assigned.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control the efficiency of the Sheeting Line to ensure that dough mixes do not exceed the capacity
  • Assure when specifications allow the reuse of waste dough from the Sheeter Line that it is incorporated back into the dough mixes by percentages allowed.
  • Assure the weight scales are functioning accurately.
  • Set and verify that the process line control parameters are to specifications.
  • Continually monitor controls to ensure that the product is to specifications.
  • Assure that flour dusters are maintained and filled at all times.
  • Verify that targeted units per proofer plates are to target specifications.
  • Assure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are adhered to by employees.
  • Record Quality Control checks accurately and timely.
  • Continually weigh units to ensure the product is within weight specifications.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and makes adjustment when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and operating mixing equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend scale and temperature readouts.
  • Ability to document mixing and ingredient data accurately.
